Welcome to the website of Plaid Cymru in Caerphilly County.

Since the 2012 council elections, Plaid has had 20 members on the council and is aiming to win back control of the authority on May 4th, 2017. It's a tough task but Plaid Cymru candidates are determined.

The last five years have been disastrous for Caerphilly with the senior officers' pay debacle, the flawed Local Development Plan which threatens our green fields and a dramatic deterioration in public services, including increasing fly tipping, more potholes, litter and dog mess. That needs to change.

The Plaid Cymru group is led by Councillor Colin Mann. who represents the Llanbradach ward. His deputy is Councillor James Fussell, who represents the St Martin's Ward in Caerphilly,
